A straightforward, comfortable place in a handy spot, right by the airport and a gear rental shop. The hosts were kind, and we especially enjoyed having a TV to watch Japanese programs in the evenings. We did need to drive a little farther to find dinner. We booked through Airbnb at a good price.

The guesthouse has lovely views and welcoming hosts, and was a comfortable size for the two of us. There’s a small kitchen and bathroom, plus a good shop at the end of the road for food and snacks. It’s uphill from the airport, and Miyanoura is about 20 minutes away by bus, which costs 500 yen each way.

The owner was so kind and ready to help. The room was spacious, cozy, and well equipped, and the location worked well for us, between two major towns and close to a large drugstore and some delicious restaurants.

The owner gave us useful ideas for things to do around the islands when it rains. We had a really pleasant, relaxing stay.

The hosts were friendly, and the place was spacious and conveniently located. I’d recommend it without hesitation.
