The little touches made this business stay especially nice. There was a free drinks machine on every floor, and mixing a cup of coffee with a cup of cocoa made a surprisingly good cafe mocha. The buffet was basic, mostly Japanese food with some continental options, but pleasant enough. My room was roomy enough, with a standard Japanese bathroom and tub. The hotel sits right next to the station, which was really convenient.

The staff were genuinely kind, and for under ¥6,000 on a weekend I felt the stay was fair value. There are free machines by the elevator for hot coffee, milk coffee, hot chocolate, and green tea. Breakfast had a decent number of choices, but the quality let it down: a few things seemed undercooked and needed more flavor. I like Active hotels, though this one surprised me with how worn the fittings looked, especially in the bathroom. The room itself was small, and the location was good.

The standard room was fine, and I appreciated that breakfast and laundry were included. Staff were polite and helpful during my three-night stay. It takes about a 15-minute walk to reach the drugstore and shopping mall, while a 7-Eleven, Lawson, and several restaurants are nearby. The hotel is right by the JR station, which made getting around easy. A nice place to stay.

There were useful free amenities on each floor: a microwave, coffee, green tea, and hot chocolate just outside the elevator. The washing machines were modern front-loaders, unlike those in many Japanese hotels, and using them with laundry soap was free. The elevator was also notably large. Our room had space for two large suitcases, good ventilation, and plenty of daylight. The reception staff were helpful and gave us useful information. The hotel is very close to Shin-yamaguchi Shikansen Station.

For a one-night work trip, this did the job. The room was tidy, and breakfast was perfectly acceptable for such a low price. It's also handy for the Shinkansen station, just nearby.
