I attended a special celebration here and found the place spacious, clean, and elegant, suitable for parties or anniversaries. I think it could accommodate more than 200 guests. The building is surrounded by hotels with hot springs.

There are public and private onsens here, as well as dinner and breakfast service. The room was spacious and clean, and staff were wonderful, helpful, and very professional. They made the beds each day, which surprised us. There's also a small extra cleaning tax on top of the booking, around ¥300.

I visited Kamefuku hotel for the day onsen. Adults pay 850 yen, and they provide a small towel. The water in the outdoor pool is silky white and left me with a lovely healing feeling after the bath. Highly recommended.

We rotate our university parties and graduation ceremonies among the five main hotels on Yuda Spa's main street: this one, Tokiwa, New Tanaka, Matsumasa, and Matsudaya. They're all great, and there's little to choose between them. Each offers traditional Japanese “omotenashi” service, good food, and a hot spa. Higher-floor rooms can also look out over the city and surrounding mountains if you open the shutters. The views aren't mentioned in the brochures, perhaps because Japanese guests value privacy more than views, but I've been up to the rooms to check. One thing that sets this hotel apart for us is that our monthly drinks party after faculty meetings is always held at its izakaya restaurant.

The service is very nice, and the gift shop is worth a visit. Clothes, hats, and food there are much cheaper than at other hotels.
