Dog Resort Woof

The staff were courteous and helpful, and the facility was clean with plenty of parking. My family and I had a wonderful time. It’s a short walk to Lake Yamanakako and the village. There are lots of dog runs, large and small, pools, an exercise area, and a shop with treats, trinkets, leashes, collars, swim gear, and more. Dogs can come to both the restaurant and the cafe, which stays open until 9 p.m. The restaurant serves Japanese and Western breakfasts, and breakfast was much better than dinner. There’s also massage for people. We were glad we booked a room with a Mt. Fuji view. Watching the sunrise wash over the mountain was amazing. The rooms aren’t fancy, but they’re comfortable and have nice toiletries. Dogs can’t be on the bed, and need to stay in their crate when you leave the room.
