The staff at the campsite were attentive and very kind. The glamping domes were great, with plenty of space for three people, plus a beamer (TV), toilet, and bathroom. We loved the BBQ dinner and breakfast, and the view of the mountain was a highlight. They also sell drinks on site until about 22:00, though that wasn’t very clear on the website. We’ll definitely come again.

My first glamping trip was a good one. Dinner and breakfast were both really tasty, and the tent had good facilities. On the day we arrived, we could see Fuji from beside our tent. The only thing I’d complain about is that other guests were quite noisy after midnight during our visit.

We liked the location and the glamping site itself, but the start of the stay was rough. The uncle at reception with shoulder-length white hair wasn’t welcoming. He seemed surprised and made a few comments when we said we couldn’t understand Japanese. We’d come for nature, but he kept smoking on the premises, which was a real shame. He also left us to find our way around the glamp site without explaining the amenities. Fortunately, the younger staff member was much friendlier and showed us how things worked. It’s a nice site, and we enjoyed being there apart from that particular staff member. I hope others have a better welcome than we did.
