Rakuten STAY VILLA Fuji Yamanakako

The location is perfect, with a great sunrise spot just a two-minute walk away. We stayed for two nights, three adults and two kids, and the villa was big enough for us. The water pressure was disappointing. Only one person could use the water at a time. Even flushing the toilet made cold water splash on the person showering. There was no staff or room service, so we couldn’t get it fixed. The bathtub was huge, but it took two hours to fill because of the water issue. For this price, I expected more.

We stayed in room 102 on 1st Apr 2024, after seeing so many good reviews, and had a great time. The lake and Mt Fuji views from the room were fantastic. You can bring your own food or shop at Selva supermarket, and the villa has all the kitchen utensils you need. We made dinner on the hot plate BBQ. The nearby lake is worth visiting, and you might see the swan there 🦢

The villa was okay, but a few problems took away from the stay. The washing machine didn’t work, and the view wasn’t as impressive as I’d hoped. There was no reception, and when I called for help with the washer, they couldn’t assist.

The view of Mount Fuji right in front of the villa is the highlight, with Lake Yamanaka just a few steps away. It’s a great spot for a family or friends’ outing, with rooms for up to 10 people. There’s lots of space inside, and the necessities and equipment are included. The bathroom is good, and there’s free Wi-Fi and a smart TV. You can also have a BBQ party outside on the balcony.
