We really enjoyed our night here with our 5-year-old. The room was super clean and had a partial view of Mount Fuji. The owner was very helpful, and breakfast was simple but delicious. There’s a café on 1F, where the owner made coffee just right. I’m picky about coffee, and I loved it. There’s no shower in the room, but we booked the onsen and had an amazing time. The hotel is a bit of a drive from the lake, so you’ll need a car, though it’s pretty affordable compared with nearby hotels.

The walk to Lake Yamanaka took about 10-15 minutes, and we had a wonderful, comfortable stay at Ryosha Tsukiakari. It worked really well for our family with young children. The owner was incredibly helpful and could speak simple English, which we appreciated. We also enjoyed the Koo Café, especially the great coffee and delicious breakfast. The hospitality was warm and thoughtful. Highly recommended for a family-friendly stay in Yamanaka.

The kindness of the staff made a big impression on us. When we couldn’t find a taxi, a lovely woman from the hotel even offered us a ride to the bus station. Dõmo arigatō gozaimasu! We also loved the delicious breakfast, freshly made each morning, and the room with a projector felt like our own private cinema. The jacuzzi was perfect for relaxing after a long day. Ryosha Tsukiakari was spotless, beautifully decorated, and so peaceful. A wonderful stay from start to finish.

Tomo-san and Kotomi-san have a lovely café downstairs, with coffee, sweets, and a nice place to take a break. The stay itself was warm and cozy, and it felt like home. If you’re looking to slow down somewhere away from the crowds, this is a lovely place. Thank you, Tomo-san and Kotomi-san!

We slept peacefully at this quiet, tucked-away onsen hotel. It was clean and reasonably priced, and the izakaya across the street made a perfect end to the day.
