The sunset by the lake, with the swans, was one of the best parts of our stay at SANU 2nd Home Yamanakako. The peaceful, nature-filled surroundings made it easy to leave the city behind and enjoy a relaxing weekend. The cabin was clean, comfortable, and really cozy. You can feel the calm as soon as you arrive. Don’t miss the lake at sunset, and enjoy every moment!

It really does feel like a second home. Everything is well designed and thoughtfully equipped, with a cozy feel. Highly recommend. I hope to stay here again.

In the morning, we saw lots of deer passing by. This is a beautiful, modern cottage in a lovely area, and you can make a fire indoors or outside. The room was clean and very well designed.

Loved the self check-in and check-out, and how well everything was planned and organized 🥰 It’s such a beautiful, warm, cozy place. We felt like we had a tiny home right in the middle of our trip. Highly recommended!

We slept better here than anywhere else in Japan, easily. It’s a lovely place in the middle of the forest, the kind where you sit by the fireplace.
