You only have to walk a few meters to get to Lake Yamanakako, and Mount Fuji is visible from outside the cabin. The self-service check-in and check-out were easy, and I’d give it 5/5. Solana Smart Inn was much better than I expected. The cabin felt brand new, and both the room and toilet were clean. It had a TV and was fully equipped with a microwave, fridge, centralized air conditioning/heater, backup heater, table lamp, and hot water. They even provided free coffee, ramen, and beer. Well done!

The electric bicycles and scooters right outside the hotel can be used free for six hours with the hotel’s promo code. The room was brand new, and the bathroom was super clean. We had a wonderful stay, and the beef restaurant in front of the hotel was excellent too. Highly recommended for a visit to Lake Yamanakako!

The clear check-in instructions made arrival easy. The room was comfortable, clean, and new, with a fridge, microwave, hair dryer, kettle, and phone charging cable. Instant coffee, tea, cups, and cup noodles were provided too. There’s a 7-11, Dawson, laundry shop, and dining place within a short walk. It turned out much better than I expected and was definitely good value for the money. Thumbs up to the host. Highly recommended for travellers.

The place is spacious and modern, with an easy self check-in and enough equipment to cook. The location works well, and taxis run until 11pm. In winter the room felt a bit too cold, while the air conditioner seemed weak. The window blinds could be better too.

I booked at the last minute because I was too tired to drive back to Tokyo. The hostel was amazing, with accommodation that felt like five-star quality. Just watch for the email with the door PIN.
