The ski rental and lessons could be booked at the hotel at very reasonable prices, though the skis were a little below average quality. Meals were well organized, with each group having its own table, so even our group of more than 15 didn't have to rush for seats after skiing. Breakfast was just as orderly. I worried about having the same buffet for six nights, but the food was delicious and varied, and they changed the menu every three days, adding some international choices. For lunch, restaurant Rocky was good, and we could ski right to its doorstep. Wifi was decent, though it could be better in the evenings. The hotel isn't new, but the rooms and facilities were well maintained. We enjoyed the public bath, indoor games hall with table tennis and badminton, and lounge with free non-alcoholic drinks. It seemed family-run, and service was very good. We accidentally cancelled our booking on a platform and rebooked at a higher rate, but the manager honored the original booking. On our third morning, they gave us delicious apple jam to thank us for staying more than three days. Several families in our group had a great time. Highly recommended.

Not worth what you pay. We paid 200,000 for two rooms for four people for two days, and I've never before had a room without a shower. Everything is self-service. The staff wouldn't even say good morning or hello. When we asked for help, all they said was that they didn't know. A friend hurt themself snowboarding, and when we asked for bandages, they didn't want to give us any. My friend offered to pay, and only then did they sell us one. Even when my friend said good morning, they ignored him. I'm so disappointed I wanted to go home after just one day. My English isn't good, so I'll stop here, though there's much more that left me dissatisfied. This hotel has made me never want to return to Shiga Kogen. I just want to cry from frustration.

A really nice spot, with big rooms and a convenient location. Dinner was pretty good, the kids' playroom was great, and you can ski straight out.

The location exceeded our expectations, right beside the ski trails, with ski-in access to both the hotel and several restaurants. The atmosphere was so positive that we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff were amazing and attentive with our children, and the food was very tasty, with both traditional cuisine and Western-style meals. I liked the clean, tidy onsen. It was a unique experience for my daughter and me. We'll come back on our next visit to Japan.

The location is nice, the staff are kind, and the rooms are decent. Breakfast was good, with waffles, croissants, and other tasty items. Dinner, though, leaned heavily on meat, with almost no vegetarian or vegan choices.
