We came for the snow monkey park and the onsen, but left loving the town and its people. The hotel staff were so kind and welcoming. They can take you to the monkey park if needed, and to the station when you need to go back. The winter views were amazing. If you like mountains and a quiet place to rest, I'd recommend coming here. 11/10 ❤️

Ma Reiko at reception was lovely, helpful, and spoke English well. When our plans changed and we needed to leave a day early, she helped us sort it out through booking.com. Everyone at Omodaka was helpful. The onsen was fabulous, and you have to try their LA burgers. So good! Thanks for a wonderful stay.

We slept better here than anywhere else on our trip. The traditional rooms were just what we wanted, and the mountain views were great. The outdoor onsen is stunning, and the staff were so friendly and helpful. A real highlight of our trip.

We couldn't stay here this time because it was fully booked, so we had to find somewhere else. Last year we stayed here, and compared with the replacement hotel we booked, Hotel Omodaka was much friendlier and better. It had a sincere feel to it. I know breakfast choices were limited, but my children remember it as great. I want to come back ☺️

The room was very spacious and breakfast was good. There's also an onsen open 24 hours. The staff were really friendly, and we got a free bus ride to the snow monkey park and Yudanaka station. I enjoyed my stay.
