A cute place with lovely staff, and it felt like somewhere to stay with an older relative on vacation. If you're looking for a spot to relax, give it a try. I'm not sure how well they speak English, since I can speak Japanese, but maybe that's not a problem.
I managed to book easily just before my trip, and the manager was very kind and helpful. I'd always stayed in the same sort of standard hotels, so this was a refreshing change for me.
I've been coming here in ski season for decades, and I'd like to keep returning. For my February 17th and 18th, 2024 stay, I booked a 2-day, 1-night plan with breakfast. The breakfast was delicious, the staff were very friendly, and I felt comfortable. One small disappointment: another guest asked whether towels were provided, and that wasn't listed in the equipment section. I thought they hadn't checked carefully. M.K
The worst hotel I've ever stayed at. I strongly recommend against going there.
