The family who runs this ryokan were lovely and friendly the whole time. It's a family business run by a man and his mom, who's in her 80s, a petite, very sweet and warm lady. She even showed us how a woman should properly wear a yukata. I'd definitely recommend staying here if you're exploring nearby and want to visit the famous nine onsens.
The owners were so friendly, and the service was amazing. My shoes got completely soaked, and they dried them overnight. I also found the private onsen really refreshing. When my friend and I checked out in the morning, the owner saw our luggage and drove us to the station. Such a great stay, we'd definitely come back!
Akira and his family are incredibly welcoming and kind, and the rooms have a warm character that suits the astonishing surroundings. The onsen takes the stay to another level and makes it unforgettable. I couldn't recommend a nicer place to stay more highly.
Everything had a lovely traditional feel, and I could use the private onsen despite having large tattoos. Breakfast was very nice, and the staff were polite and accommodating. Amazing experience!
The people were warm and welcoming, the facilities were clean, and the private onsen had a sign-up sheet for time slots. Breakfast was delicious. A wonderful experience.
