Dinner at the first-floor restaurant was really good, with food that felt high quality. The bathroom was clean, though the room itself was small and pretty basic. I also noticed an odd smell in the hallway outside the room. The location worked well for sightseeing in Nara, just one stop from JR Nara Station and right across from the station.

Booking ahead and getting the tickets in advance made the already reasonable prices even better. I liked that this was a beer hall indoors, rather than a beer garden on the roof, so it stayed cool.

Breakfast was included, and we were surprised by the menu. It felt almost like a full-course meal and gave the stay a luxurious feel. We had picked a cheap hotel for sightseeing, but it turned out to be a wonderful wedding venue too.

The location, service, and breakfast were all excellent, especially for such a reasonable price. It seems like a good base for exploring Nara city, instead of staying overnight in the city.

The lunch menu is a great deal, with both meat and fish offered as main courses for a reasonable price. They focus on local production and consumption, and use mostly locally produced ingredients.
