We were really happy with our two stays here during our cycling trip. The rooms were among the smallest we’ve had, even smaller than some other Superhotels, but they were clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. Breakfast was free and good, and the staff were welcoming and very friendly. It’s handy for a stop along the Keinawa cycle route between Kyoto and Wakayama.

I was able to get a room even on a weekend without booking, and found the hotel comfortable and cozy for a reasonable price. It works well for business trips or leisure. There’s a private bath and natural hot spring to relax in after a long, tiring day. I also loved the toiletries and ended up ordering some from their online shop. You can choose a pillow that suits you, which was amazing! The breakfast buffet was the sort of meal I’d love to wake up to at home on a Sunday morning. It’s not a grand hotel, but it’s decent, and I was pleased with the experience.

November 2025. This Super Hotel in Nara is part of a nationwide hotel group, but it has a distinctive building and a notably large public bath. The hotel and rooms are spacious and clean, and the service was good across the board. There’s the usual welcome bar and coffee, plus a healthy breakfast. The hotel is away from the downtown area, so if you plan to drink in your room, you’ll want to buy groceries beforehand. It was easy to work on my computer in the room too. Thanks again for the hospitality.
