I stopped in for a break. It's an ordinary love hotel with no standout facilities, though it's been around a while and is clean. The member perks seem a little questionable. Since it's a one-girl type, you can go in without meeting anyone, which is nice.

Being right beside a cemetery made me uneasy. The customer service was what really put me off. They issued me a membership card but said I couldn't use it that day, even though the brochure said it could be used right away. When I asked, they clarified that the card could be issued immediately, but the service could not be used. Then the brochure shouldn't say it's available immediately. The staff spoke down to me when I raised this, and I felt awful. I won't come back, and I hope nobody else gets misled.

The room was spacious and came with a jacuzzi, check-in was quick, and the price felt fair. There's free parking, plus a large supermarket called AEON about a ten-minute walk away for shopping and meals. The nearby cemetery is the one drawback. If that doesn't bother you, it seems worth staying; if it does, you may not want to.

I booked a non-smoking room ahead of my trip to Mount Yoshino. I could have stopped at a restaurant on the way, but travel had worn me out, so I ate at the hotel instead. The discount didn't apply, but the crispy tempura made with fatty tuna was delicious. The welcome drink was free, and I really enjoyed the draft beer.
