Inside, the accommodation was really nice, and the views were beautiful. The outside needs a lot of work, though: the grass was uncut, the facade was dirty and peeling, old cars without wheels sat in the driveway, and the jacuzzi and awning were useless. The cafe next door was lovely and served delicious food, but it had no vegan options. You also have to leave your security deposit there as proof that nothing was damaged.

The guesthouse is attached to a cafe and set in a foreign-style house. It has three bedrooms, two toilets, and two bathrooms, with almost everything you need. There are two double beds and one twin bed, so it fits four people if everyone has their own bed, or six with two sharing each double. The road up is narrow and steep, so larger vehicles may be tricky unless you're confident driving. At night it was very quiet, and we could hear the waves. There's a small shopping mall-like place at the top of the hill, which was handy. The cafe next door seemed to have US military personnel stopping in for tea every day, which made it feel like we weren't in Japan.

I wanted somewhere quiet with few tourists, and after seeing the photos I booked this place right away. We stayed September 4th through September 8th, and once we arrived it was so peaceful and comfortable that I wanted to stay forever. The owner was very friendly and brought us delicious mango juice and fresh baked bread. My daughter even took one home, lol. The cafe next door was simple and stylish. We got breakfast to go, and it was really well made and delicious. On checkout day they invited us to relax before our flight, so we did. Thanks to that, we could meet up with our kids and spend some quiet time together. The Okinawan showers and interiors were lovely, though I added my son's favorite hula dolls so my post wouldn't overlap with others, lol. I also added a photo of the factory lit up, which seems to be Okinawa Electric Power Company. There's a condominium in Yomitan with a pool from the same chain.

This is a renovated, spacious foreign-style house turned into a beach house, and you get the whole place to yourself. With only a cafe nearby, I could just relax and enjoy my own time. The ocean is right in front, and stairs lead down to the sandy beach. I also got breakfast to go from the cafe and ate it at the beach house. It's about an hour's drive from Naha, but handy for sightseeing in central Okinawa, and I was able to visit places like the Churaumi Aquarium. The entrance from the road is a little hard to spot, so using the cafe as the navigation destination made it much easier to find. I'd stay again if I get the chance.
