The mountain view was fantastic, and everything in the tiny room was comfortable. The reception staff were very professional, and there’s a supermarket and restaurants close by. I really disliked having to leave the key at the Front Desk whenever I went out. That meant queuing every time I came back or left, which is inconvenient. I hope they do something about it.

I was cycling through and they stored my bike in the staff room. The price was great, service friendly, and the breakfast buffet was one of the better ones I’ve had. Nighttime dining options are within walking distance too. Couldn’t ask for more.

The hotel is easy to get to and reception is open 24 hours. But this is my second stay, and both times I found hair in the bathroom.

It's a clean, modern, well-run business/budget hotel with good food, a great public bath, and usable internet. I paid 10,800 yen for one night because I booked a Saturday that coincided with the city's summer fireworks festival. The usual rate is about 6000 yen, so it was quite a jump. Even at that price, I wasn't disappointed with the hotel. If you can find it for 2 or 3 thousand yen less, it's an absolute steal.

The hot water spa switches between male and female use in different time slots. Staff were very helpful, and the WiFi was very good. Parking is a short walk away.
