Ooe Valley Stay - Hostel

The rooms were comfortable and properly laid out for a hotel stay, even though the building itself is a renovated school. You can still see its past in the exterior and staircase. The staff were wonderful, and the dessert sweets from Ooe Nature Village were delicious, with a generous selection. We stayed on a plan that let us bring our dog.

I've been coming back here for a few years when I visit the Sand Museum. There's no TV, which makes it easy to relax and lose track of time. The all-inclusive food has lots of variety and uses local ingredients. There are so many sweets, and I tend to drink too much, so I have to watch myself. A luxurious problem to have! ❤️😞😅

The room was clean, and the hairdryer was a Dyson. It looked so modern that I had a hard time figuring out how to use it.😅 All the meals were delicious and impressive, and I loved the free drinks. There was a good range of non-alcoholic options and every one I tried tasted good. The homemade desserts made it feel like great value, and I was very satisfied.

I spent a blissful moment drinking coffee in my glamping tent with the after-dinner sweets, which were incredibly good and a big part of why I came. The homemade Baumkuchen was another highlight. It was hot, fluffy, and smelled amazing, so I hurried over to get it fresh and have it with a good drink. There was a lot on my schedule, one of the fun things about all-inclusive hotels, so I used a free stretch to exercise in the gym before heading to my next plan. Being able to move around with a drink was great. The real trampoline was a hit with both adults and kids, who jumped until they were exhausted. I also played badminton for the first time in ages and felt refreshed after moving around. I imagine the gym gets like a sauna in midsummer. There weren't many guests, so we could move around without worrying. I also met a local guest who suggested places to visit because rain was forecast for the next day. That became another nice trip memory. The BBQ was great too, and the kids were thrilled. I had a discount coupon, so I tried Oenosato pancakes the next day. They were delicious, and I'd love to have them again. My one disappointment was the seasonal drinks. I was looking forward to them, but they weren't on the menu at first. I finally worked up the nerve to ask, and they brought out the menu, but then put it away again, so I only got to order from it that one time. Still, I had a very good stay and would like to return. My friend was interested too, and is planning a visit.
