Miyako Hotel Yokkaichi

I was on my first business trip to Japan and only had a little time to see Yokkaichi. The hotel is right by Yokkaichi Station and next to a shopping center, and my room was spotless and welcoming, with a great view. They don't offer room service. The stay was fairly expensive, around 110 USD a night. I tried both restaurants, one Japanese and one Chinese. I'm not much of a meat eater, so I explained my preferences and they kindly adjusted the menu. I had fried chicken and nuts as starters, then fried rice with tofu and vegetable gravy. Breakfast is served on the ground floor. The buffet felt a bit underwhelming and didn't have many choices, but there were baked goods and fresh fruit that should suit most people. They also make omelets from the options they provide.

It's clean and bright, right next to the station. The best part is how close it is to the town's main area for food and entertainment.

The location is right in the center, close to the station and surrounded by shops and restaurants. Parking is free, and the staff were courteous. My room was tidy and clean, with plenty of space and a comfortable bed and pillow. Breakfast could use more options. By about 9 a.m., the food trays were almost empty.

The room was spacious and clean, and it came with free use of a coffee maker. Staff were helpful and the service was good. The hotel sits in Yokkaichi's busy area, and I think it's one of the biggest in the county. Basement parking is available for a fee.
