It feels a bit cheap inside, and I found it hard to relax. The capsule walls are thin, so there's snoring and other odd noises from people nearby, on top of the constant air conditioning. If you need quiet to sleep, that could be a real problem. The accommodation floors are closed from 11am to 2pm for cleaning, though that didn't matter much to me since this isn't really a place to hang out in your room all day. There is basically one elevator for four of the six floors, so expect to wait a few minutes sometimes. On the plus side, it's easy enough to find and there are lots of shops around. The staff are attentive and will store luggage that won't fit in your locker. I liked the fast, uncomplicated WiFi, the voucher for one free drink, the lightly used small onsen, and the lounge with what seemed to be unlimited curry rice nearly 24 hours a day and loads of manga. It feels more like a manga cafe where you can sleep and wash up, which may suit solo travelers looking for somewhere to rest between outings.

The beds were uncomfortable, and there were only a few private showers. The rooms have paper thin walls and no air conditioning, which made a summer stay almost miserable. The free meal was nice, but didn't make up for the overall quality. It was very cheap, so I suppose you get what you pay for, though I know of similar places in Tokyo at the same price with better quality.

The sleep was awful, which is what matters most to me in a hotel. The bed felt harder than the futon on wood I'd slept on the night before, and the pillows were unbelievably poor. I'd ask for 2-3 extra pillows and 3-4 blankets to pad the bed and your head. The privacy screens let you see the outline of someone inside with even a tiny bit of light, the capsule light only had one bright setting, and the hall light never dimmed. The sheets and units weren't very clean either: I found blood at the edge of my unit, and most or maybe all of the bedding was stained. They need to invest in bleaching and better housekeeping. The elevator was incredibly slow despite the building having only six floors, five usable, and it almost crushed someone right when I arrived. Still, there were things I liked. The huge manga library has new arrivals and everything from Mashle and spy family to Jojo's and aot. The common area was nice, with tea and soda offered free using a small paper voucher. The free curry and rice was filling and satisfying, with meat in it. I'd had curry at a luxury capsule hotel that wasn't nearly as good, and I ate about five bowls here. The lockers are on the same floor as the capsules, shoes are allowed in the common area, and the self-closing doors kept the rooms quiet. Staff were all very nice, and I got a relatively cheap rate. If you're reading this more than six months later, perhaps the hotel has improved. This place could be great with a little more work.

The stay was comfortable, and the food was really good.

It was my first capsule hotel, and I had a good time. There's a women's floor with around 10 capsules, and the onsen and food are included around the clock. It got a little noisy at night because of the air conditioning, and there wasn't much fresh air, but that's capsule hotel life.
