Hotel Yokohama Camelot Japan

Getting here from Yokohama station underground is really convenient. I tried to nap mid-morning, but construction next door was noisy. I called the front desk and they sorted it out very quickly.

The cleaners were friendly and easy to talk to, but the room made me really uncomfortable on my own. The yellow lighting and stained sofa didn't help, and the mirrors running from the desk to the bathroom door made it look like someone was standing there. I couldn't sleep properly.

I wasn't looking for anything fancy at the affordable price I paid, and the dated decor is exactly what some people mention. Still, the value turned out better than I'd expected. As a pensioner traveling alone, I found the Camelot a good place to rest. It felt secure, and my room was cleaned impeccably every day. It was quiet all day and night. The underground entrance to Yokohama station is right outside the front door, which made getting around easy. My Yokohama trip was fun and affordable here, and I'd like to come back.

The route from Yokohama Station is entirely underground, so rain isn't an issue. The hotel is by exit “West 12,” which makes the location ideal. I liked the friendly staff and the comfortable, well-equipped rooms with their amenities.
