The location is good, and that's about the only thing I liked. The room was empty and nothing like the pictures. I booked a double, but it didn't seem any different from a single, so I felt like I was paying extra just to have two people stay. The place feels like it's run by AI, with negative notices all over the walls. One says luggage isn't safe to leave there before check-in, and there are others telling guests not to talk around the hotel. The double bed was a tatami or floor mat, and you have to get your own sheets, so I don't understand the check-in arrangement. I hate leaving bad reviews, and this is my first bad hotel review in Japan. If the photos had been honest, I'd have rated it better.

The hotel is close to the train station, parks, and things to do within walking distance. I found the neighborhood quiet and not sketchy at night, despite what others have said. Check-in was simple and friendly, and the room was quite spacious, with the toilet separate from the shower and tub. It may have been, or still be, a love hotel. There was barely any hot water, which was disappointing. The room had the basics like a fridge and TV, but the bed felt a bit firm.

The room was old and really dirty, with peeling walls. Very disappointing. I woke up with an itchy rash after sleeping in the bed.

A friend visiting from the States needed an inexpensive room and asked me to check this place out. When she mentioned the name, I wondered if it was a love hotel. It is, so the rooms are bigger than at a business hotel, and you may get some of that fun love hotel culture. The location is great: Chinatown is walkable, and it's right on the Keihin line. She stayed two weeks without problems. Some rooms are for smoking, so if you want a nonsmoking room, get one. The doors do lock, despite what some reviews say. There's a washing machine, but I'd only use it for washing. I have the same model at home, and drying a small load takes three hours.

Such a beautiful place, like a fancy royal studio. We got the 7900¥ deal on couples.com during a white day holiday, and it was worth it. Definitely coming back.
