Blue Steak Wonder Nagahama

We had a great six-night stay in the top-floor apartment. It was roomy and practical, with a cool interior, a fantastic sea view, and even an old-school record player. Free parking was a bonus too. Highly recommend.

The location is fantastic, and it's the kind of lovely place that makes you want to come back after staying once. There's no bathtub, but it has everyday essentials like a washing machine, dryer, rice cooker, and plenty more.

The ocean view is great, and the kitchen was stocked with plates, glasses, chopsticks, cutlery, paper towels, and garbage bags. There was also a washing machine and detergent. They seem mindful of SDGs, with wooden toothbrushes and detergent that has a slightly acidic smell. If you're fine with those, you can leave your own toiletries at home. We were four women on a trip, and the place felt like good value, with six beds and a roomy sofa. There were two rooms where the shower and toilet shared space. The parking is up a slope and set back from the road in a residential area, so it could be tricky if the lot is full. Coming from the ocean side is manageable, but from inland it's a dark, narrow-road residential area at night. There's a convenience store nearby by car, though it's a bit far to walk.

The softener-filtered water tasted really good and was so soft, I was grateful to be able to gulp it down. The toilet seat also warmed up gradually, which was a nice touch. They had a baby bed, guard, bath, and chair available to rent, which helped a lot. We stayed two nights as a group of seven from two families. The 90-square-meter ocean-view executive suite had a stylish interior that was exciting to come back to. Having a washer and dryer was especially useful with kids, and the dishes and detergent made it easy to settle in.
