I booked the Corner Luxury Twin Room and found it spacious and bright, with a wonderful view over the sea. The hotel feels calm and elegant, clearly geared toward relaxing by the coast. Having three breakfast restaurants to choose from was a nice touch, and kept mornings from feeling repetitive. The private beach was clean, quiet, and well maintained, with clear water and soft sand. It felt peaceful and safe for a walk in the morning or photos at sunset. Staff were consistently polite, and the grounds were looked after well. A comfortable beachfront choice for couples, families, or anyone after a resort-style stay.

The staff were lovely, friendly, and helpful, and the rooms were clean and comfortable, though a bit tired. The sea view more than made up for the room condition. Food at Brassiere was excellent, if somewhat expensive, and the breakfast buffets were generally very good. A bar that closes after 2-6pm is disappointing, and for such a large resort I expected a games room. You can buy beer and similar things in the shop. The area where swimming was allowed in the sea was very small, and having to leave at 4:30, before sunset, was a shame. As others have mentioned, you’ll need a car to get to island restaurants and sights.

Our family of four, with children aged three and one, had a very enjoyable first stay and plan to return. We chose the 51-square-metre Corner Deluxe Twin for the extra room and view. Since our youngest goes to bed early, we had enough space to spend time outside the bedroom, including hanging out in the bathroom. The view was beautiful even in cloudy or windy weather, and the little window above the bathtub was the best bathroom view I’ve seen. There are lots of photogenic spots around the well-kept hotel, whose architecture feels like visiting several places while staying in one. The hotel is in the Nirai Beach area of Yomitan, a bit of a drive from NAHA airport and car rental places, though direct taxis from the airport are available. Compared with staying farther south, Yomitan is relatively close to different attractions, so the location felt like a good balance. The Gala is nearby by car, with other food options. Staff were accommodating and professional. Valet parking came with our booking, and I’d recommend using it since the walk from the car park to the lobby adds up. After checkout, we noticed something missing. Before we even asked, staff had spotted it and contacted the front desk, then helped us return to the room and look for the items. There are three breakfast venues. We tried two, and found a good range of options and decent food, though the menu stayed the same each day apart from the soup. We wished room dining were available, especially late at night. We arrived late after our flight and couldn’t find food after 10pm. The nearest convenience store is about a five-minute drive away, next to Town Plaza, a grocery store that closes at 11pm. Housekeeping was a little confusing: we thought the room would be cleaned automatically each day, but needed to request it. Once we realized it hadn’t been cleaned, staff still came to replace items and take out the trash, which we appreciated. We felt welcome throughout and would definitely come back.

There’s plenty to do here, including water activities, golf putting, cycling, and an indoor pool. A sea-view room is a good choice, it’s lovely to wake up to the morning breeze. Since the resort is a bit rural, having a car is advisable. The closest convenience stores are a seven-minute drive away. There are two large guest parking lots, and we paid 1,000 yen to park for two nights.
