Terrible service. They hung up on me twice!

The manager was kind and even made room for extra guests who joined us during our stay. He also gave us plenty of suggestions when I asked about restaurants and other things to do. We had space to share dinner with my friend from Yoron and his family, and then enjoyed fireworks in the garden. It made for a really comfortable, fun visit. The building is old, but the rooms are kept up well, and the manager clearly puts effort into making guests comfortable. His herbal cafe's curry was delicious, and I could feel the care he puts into the place. I've visited a lot of places, including Okinawa and Amami, and both the island and the villas were great. I highly recommend staying here.

We had a lot of fun at the private beach. It's a wonderful place, and I hope they open again.

The views are amazing, as they are all over Yoron, and the island is small enough that getting to shops by rental car is easy. You can call a taxi too. For a swim, though, you'll need to drive to Oganeku Beach or Minada Beach. The building is pretty run-down, so think of it more like camping if you stay. Bugs are something to prepare for unless you like them. It may not suit families, though a group of young people could find it a good option. There aren't many places on Yoron that fit large groups, so even after the price went up, the cost per square meter may still be reasonable. The cancellation policy is strict: the full fee applies whatever the reason, even if you booked far ahead. The rumors about the reservation agents being quite strict seem true.
