Minpaku Haruna

We booked after seeing lots of positive reviews from Korean guests, but our stay matched what some reviewers from outside Korea had described. The hosts seemed racist toward Southeast Asian guests and were very controlling, which left us with little privacy. Shower use is limited to before 8 pm, and checkout is at 10 am.

The walk around Lake Kinrin was a highlight for me. It was so lovely going when nobody else was there, and the lake is close to the accommodation. There’s a Lawson about five minutes away on foot, and you can use the hot springs too. Mr. and Mrs. Haruna were thoughtful and attentive hosts. They take just one group per day. You can book through Airbnb. Check-in is after 3 PM, with checkout at 10 AM.

At 10 p.m. 10we went down to Lawson, but the road was so dark that even the two of us were scared. Still, we thought, who would come all the way into these mountains?. Since there were two men in our group, we weren’t too concerned that the locks seemed a little flimsy,, but women or anyone concerned about security might find it uncomfortable.. 5/17~18 we stayed one night, and 1 although daytime temperatures in Korea and Japan both reached 3030°C in early summer, it was cool because we were right below the mountain.. The mountain is right next to the place, so bugs can’t be avoided.. We came by rental car, which was convenient,, but when I asked, they said they could arrange a pickup at a suitable time.. Lawson is less than 5a five-minute walk away.. We booked through Airbnb.. They only host one group per day, and there’s a spacious living room as well as the bedroom.. It’s a good option if you’re looking for somewhere quiet.. Haruna-san is Korean and explains things kindly and clearly, so you don’t need to worry about communication..
