We only stayed one night, unfortunately, but it was a great experience. The host made us feel welcome as soon as we arrived. Dinner was shabu shabu, and the portions were enormous. We were full and happy. Breakfast was an oriental-style spread with all sorts of tasty food. Our apartment had its own hot tub with a beautiful view, and the wood smell was incredible. It was a treat for our tired bodies after all the traveling. Thanks for having us. If you're in Yufuin, we can definitely recommend coming to enjoy the hot tub and the owner's hospitality.

The room was big and had a private bath, which was fantastic for privacy. Dinner was GREAT, with generous servings, and breakfast was fantastic too. Finding the house was tricky at night while driving. We went around twice before working out which path led there, and almost drove off the sloping path. Some lights along it would probably make it safer.

Dinner and breakfast were delicious, proper traditional Japanese meals, according to this non-Japanese diner. The room, Take01 @ L1, had plenty of room for three adults and all our luggage, with a table beside the bathing area and onsen. The owner and staff were so friendly and patiently answered all my many questions. What an amazing ryokan!

That drip coffee was lovely with the quiet town and mountain view. My family had a great stay here: the place was clean and peaceful, and having our own bathroom was really nice. The host explained everything clearly and was so kind, and we enjoyed the food too. I’m glad I chose it after reading all the good reviews. Thank you for a wonderful vacation!

We had a great dinner and breakfast, and the room worked well for our family of four. It was simple and clean, with bamboo outside that made the space feel especially peaceful while soaking in the tub. I’d tell friends about this hotel.
