Pension Alhambra

The three baths were a real treat, especially the big jacuzzi, and being able to use them whenever I wanted made it easy to relax. The staff were so friendly, and the room was simple but had plenty of space. Cape Manazuru is about a 15-minute drive away. The roads on the way are pretty narrow, so take care if driving isn’t your strong point. I’d definitely stay here again.

I only had breakfast, no dinner, but the meal was still a delicious full course, so I’m glad I chose this place. The wife was fun to talk with, and I’d like to come back and hear more from her.

The food was clearly something they care about, and I was very happy with both dinner and breakfast during my one-night stay. Taxis from Manazuru can be hard to get, even through an app, so it’s better to call ahead.

The meals were mostly fish, with a good amount of food and a nice range of shochu. At checkout, the staff suggested some tasty local restaurants, which was a nice touch. It’s a reasonably priced pension with a real sense of local warmth. The rooms are a little old but clean. Finding the place was a bit tricky, and the area around it felt crowded.
