The room rate was good, and we had a nice room with a private wooden hot spring tub. There was a free shuttle bus from and to Ueno. Dinner was a tasty buffet with all-you-can-drink sake and beer.

A good-value onsen hotel for the general public. The building is a bit old, but it’s well maintained.

A budget hotel with no shower in the room. The dinner buffet includes sake and beer.

The rooms were smoky and smelled bad. The place is old and a bit shabby, though the food was decent.
