The traditional Japanese ryokan-style room was a nice part of the stay, and the meal they served was delicious. I really enjoyed my time here. The staff were nothing but friendly and helpful.

The food, the scenery, and the onsen all impressed me. Everyone on staff was friendly and professional. A lovely spot to visit.

The food was delicious and the staff were kind, but this became a really sad trip because I couldn't use the hot spring. I have trouble walking and can't go very far, so I booked a more expensive room with a private open-air bath. It was on the first floor, as was the dining area, and was advertised as barrier-free, so I thought it would be perfect. But the in-room tub was shaped like a giant clam, narrowing toward the bottom. It was high, slippery to step into, and had wavy edges that were impossible to grip. There were no handrails. I tried hard to get in, but couldn't, so despite staying at a hot spring inn, I couldn't enjoy the baths. I deeply regret not checking the tub's shape more carefully, especially with the barrier-free description. I heard some rooms have normally shaped tubs, but I think older guests and people with disabilities may not be able to enjoy the hot springs, so be cautious.
