The Japanese-style breakfast was delicious, and the staff were courteous. I also liked being able to take a stroll by the river after a meal. My room was a good size and exceptionally clean, and the nearby road was quiet. I had a great stay and hope to return.
The staff were very helpful, and the central location was a plus. The room itself was small and dated, though, and the facilities felt quite outdated. Soundproofing could use a lot of improvement.
Even though I booked on the day and arrived late, the staff made things easy. I'd missed dinner, but they had rice balls for sale at the front desk, which was a help. The building feels a little dated, but it's clean and has the facilities I needed. I found the staff's service and attitude especially good, and the stay was comfortable.
I've stayed here several times, including for multiple nights. The location and service were both excellent, and the amenities are plentiful. Some parts of the building and its facilities feel old, but the stay is still comfortable. Having the room cleaned and the trash collected during a longer visit was a real help. I'll be back.
The staff were all warm and friendly. I chose udon for breakfast, and when I didn't feel very hungry the next morning, I asked to take the rice ball that came with it. They wrapped it up and put it in a shopping bag with a wet wipe. I really appreciated that thoughtfulness. The building seems old but is looked after. From the room, hallway voices and footsteps were audible. Maybe it was the season, but under the blanket I got too hot, and without it I was too cold to fall asleep.
