Naeba la Neige

The bedding made a big difference after days in the mountains. The mattresses and pillows were good quality, kept us warm, and helped us get proper rest. The rooms themselves are simple. We also enjoyed the homemade food, which worked well for the kids and our family. It was honest home cooking, without unnecessary fancy touches, and hard to find when traveling. We’re a family from France, and spent four nights here with all five of us in December. We’ve stayed at lots of resorts and hotels over the years, and as a large family we have some specific needs. The owners welcomed us warmly. At La Neige, their hospitality felt like real engagement, which we don’t always find these days. If you like Salomon Skiing equipment, the rental gear here is good quality and reasonably priced. Naeba is within walking distance, though with kids I’d strongly suggest driving, even though it’s close. With comfortable beds, a warm room, good food, and quality rental gear all in one place, it’s hard to beat. We’re planning to return later in the year during the warmer months, to see the mountain without snow and experience Naeba another way. I’d recommend this cozy, welcoming place for families. It wouldn’t be my pick for hipster city couples on a honeymoon.
