For 100€ a night, the rooms, beds and facilities felt poor quality. At that price I expected breakfast, but there was none. The island’s restaurants don’t open until 11 am, so be ready to go without food for 12 hours. The convenience store does have cup noodles and beer. For Hei price, the service is pretty poor too. There was no kitchen access, no hot water or tea, and the shared bathrooms were small and dirty.

The electric scooters were so old they couldn’t get us up hills, and one had a threadbare tyre that burst from age. We walked back and lost an hour, but they wouldn’t give us a refund. Wouldn’t recommend renting from here.

The owners were kind and understanding, and I had a nice stay.

The bar downstairs made a lot of noise, and nights weren’t quiet because the owner and his friends gathered there. Check-in was a nightmare too. The owner was busy with other jobs and only appeared for 2-3 hours a day. The place felt extremely dirty, cramped, and old. The layout made no sense: the room windows opened straight onto the shared lounge and bathroom, so people smoking outside could open their windows and say hello. The bathroom was outside and unbearably hot in summer. The shared shower was on the first floor, and the shampoo was basically cold water. There was no bidet toilet seat, and you’re constantly taking your shoes on and off because of the layout. The price was way out of proportion to the quality. There are two convenience stores on the island, one good and one mediocre, and the owner also runs the mediocre one. Trying to juggle both jobs seems to show in the cleanliness and quality of the guesthouse. To me, Guesthouse 303 is the worst guesthouse on Zamami Island, and I never want to stay there again.
