There are lots of extra things to enjoy here, including a ping pong table, darts room, and a massage or spa option for an additional fee. The karaoke rooms were closed during our visit. Staff were very professional, and the room itself was splendid, though with so much to do I didn't feel like spending much time in it. The food was amazing, with unlimited drinks, including alcohol. The quality and quantity make it great value. The hotel sits in beautiful nature on the impressive mountain called Zao. It has a wide range of indoor and outdoor baths, both public and private, and the outside private baths have especially stunning views. It's less traditionally styled, but the facility and location are superb. One of the best onsen hotels you can visit in Miyagi prefecture, perhaps even Japan. In Japanese, I'd sum it up as wonderful and splendid, wonderful and splendid.

We stayed one night at Yutomori Club last November after visiting Okuma crater. It's tucked away from the city bustle, a peaceful place to unwind and recharge. We enjoyed the quiet surroundings, the rotenburos, the all-inclusive drinks, and the delicious meals. I was told that children weren't to be included in a reservation. I consider Yutomori club a luxury hotel. It's quite pricey and a bit difficult to reach, since the hotel doesn't provide a shuttle service. We had a pleasant stay and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

Watanabe-san made the stay especially memorable. After I left my scarf on the Shinkansen, he spent over an hour contacting the local JR station and several other people to help find it. Even with the language barrier, he took my request seriously and kept trying. That kind of care really showed me Japan's dedication to customer service. Yutomori Club is tucked away in Miyagi, and getting there or communicating may take extra effort for visitors. It was worth it. The forest and mountain setting is so peaceful that I didn't want to leave the grounds, and the food was carefully prepared and delicious enough to make me want more. The rooms feel luxuriously furnished, like Muji but better, and the facilities are top notch. I arrived with high expectations from reviews and photos, but the experience still exceeded them. This felt like a chance to experience Japanese hospitality and culture in a modern setting, not just a hotel room. I hope this hidden gem gets more recognition, and I can't wait to come back. Very comfortable. Dinner is buffet-style, which isn't the most comfortable arrangement, but it may be an acceptable compromise if you're trying to get the most for the price.
