Charlie, the caretaker, was always smiling, humble and helpful. He stayed with us through the whole karoga process while we cooked by the garden. The garden and veranda come alive when the three musketeers are let loose: Rambo, Romeo, and the third one whose name I can’t remember. Those four-legged buggers are the life of the place. We’ve just returned from our latest ride to Eldy, and I wanted to recommend this peaceful getaway. The accommodation is in a serene location, beautiful and well maintained, and each room has its own tasteful theme. The host, Jayant, feels like a brother, respectful, polite and warm. His assistance was below the limits. If you’re looking for a peaceful break, this is your place.

We spent three nights at Yala Home over New Year’s Eve, and the party with its yummy food was wonderful. We’re from the UK, and the stay felt like home away from home. The owners and staff gave excellent service. It was just perfect, and I’d love to come back again and again. Good luck, you’ll see me more often.

Jayen and Charlie were amazing, and I even got a souvenir jacket to keep warm in chilly Eldoret. I spent five days at Yala Home and felt right at home. It’s calm, quiet, clean and very secure, while still being close to town. I had a great stay and will definitely be back for that homely feel.
