The view was lovely, the food was good, and the staff were friendly. We had a great one-night camping stay during the Kenya Bike Odyssey, and everything went smoothly. I left my towel behind, and they arranged to send it to me.

Lovely views and such a peaceful feel, a great weekend getaway from city life. If you’re camping, remember to bring mosquito repellent.

We camped here, though there are lodges too. The lake view is lovely and the staff are very nice. The toilets worked, but weren’t as clean as we’d hoped. Also, watch out for monkeys. Apart from that, it was good.

We arrived really excited, but within three hours, maybe less, we were already calling for motorcycles to pick us up. The place itself isn’t bad, which makes it a shame, but I can’t recommend it at all. It felt as though nothing had changed since the last guest was there five years ago. The same bugs you find in the lake were in the bathroom and room. We asked the man there for a refund, and he refused.
