The staff were kind and helpful the whole time, and my complaints aren't about them. But the rooms need serious renovation. Our first mattress had a deep dip, and even the person who showed us the room was surprised, so we were moved. The next room was in rough shape too: there was a two-inch gap under the main door, the windows wouldn't shut completely, and the bathroom door neither opened all the way nor latched because its fitting was missing. The room was very dirty. The mosquito net was a welcome touch, but it had lots of dead bugs and needed washing, and the pillowcases smelled of body odor. Dinner was disappointing as well. We ordered a chicken sandwich and Asian chicken with rice; the chicken in both was dry, and the waitress forgot the rice, which arrived much later. The fries were good, and breakfast from the buffet was good too. We stayed one night and weren't happy with it. I wouldn't recommend staying here. Whoever owns Sweet Lake Resort should renovate it. The people working there deserve better.

We came during the New Year's celebrations. There was a swimming pool, plus a few games around the grounds, including a pool table, volleyball court, and football pitch. The range of activities was what I liked most.

The service was great, but please sort out the rooms, especially the washrooms. There also needs to be water in those rooms. It's very uncouth. Thanks.

The bathroom could use some renovation, especially since shower water spreads across the whole room. The hotel itself is nice, with good food and a quiet room. Most staff are friendly and ready to help, particularly the student attachés.
