The road in is a little bumpy, but the view is scenic and the food is really good.

The place looks cool, but the road there is muddy. The beds have colored bedding, so it’s hard to tell whether they’re clean. Charging 4200 for a tiny room is a joke, and 6k for the bigger one is an even bigger one.

Kimugu may not be the prettiest restaurant, but the food is the best. Their Indian dishes are very good, and so is the Kenyan food. The nearby river adds a relaxing feel. For authentic, good food, this is the place.

The lodge is incredibly beautiful and picturesque by the Kimugu River, and the staff are very friendly. We had a wonderful lunch with delicious food, especially the buttered chicken. The owners also gave us helpful advice about the area.

We had butter chicken, mutton stew, and masala chips for lunch with friends. The food was cooked to order, so it took a while, but it was delicious and fairly cheap, so worth the wait. Staff even helped arrange a trip to a tea factory for the next day. The restaurant has a lovely stream view and quaint setting, at most a 20 minute walk from Kericho town. I’d definitely come back next time I’m in Kericho.
