Mum's Hotel Kikuyu

The hotel itself is really nice, and the ambience is great. What you see online is what you get, apart from the customer service. My room had no water in the morning for some weird reason. I asked the receptionist, and she curtly said, "yes hakuna maji ndo inapumpiwa it will take about 30minutes," then went back to scrolling TikTok. I had no 30 minutes to wait, and she offered no solution. The accommodation is just okay, but they could definitely do better. Staff need training in professionalism and dealing with guests. If being looked after matters to you, I wouldn't recommend it. If it doesn't, the hotel may suit you.

I was there Sunday night, and the service was just not right. There were no towels, and they had literally put a dirty one on the bed, folded neatly but still DIRTY!! No hot water either. The receptionist literally told me to shower on the lower floor, then walk back to my room in a towel. Heeeh! Never visiting Mum's hotel again.

I called waiter lenah to change my order just one minute later, but the attitude she gave me was something else. She even clicked her mouth, and I could hear it from where I was sitting. That kind of attitude can't be tolerated in hospitality. You guys, deal with her!!!!

I've been going to Mum's hotel almost every day from 6m to 9pm, ever since it opened, and it's always been the greatest place. The staff are friendly and the customer service is top-notch. Their rooms are clean, with personnel on standby, and the accommodation service is top-notch too. I recommend Mum's hotel to everyone.
