The service staff are really friendly, and the location on Oginga Odinga Road puts you right in the centre of Kisumu with easy access around town. Parking is very limited, though, so you’ll probably end up on the roadside. I was a little disappointed by the rooms, especially the awkwardly placed shower.

We needed somewhere for one night after our first booking was cancelled, so we reserved two rooms here. The quality seemed fine, the location was great, and the staff were friendly and professional.

The hotel felt a bit enclosed, and I missed having a terrace or open area to get some fresh air during the day. That’s why I’m giving it four stars. Otherwise, the stay went smoothly: the room was very clean, and the AC and hot water both worked perfectly. The staff were friendly, provided amazing service, and were accommodating throughout. They let us check in early, then kept our luggage in a secure room while we spent a few more hours exploring the city after checkout. Breakfast was very good too.

It works well for a business stay, but a pub or bar behind the hotel makes considerable noise until midnight.

The rooms are great and the service is good. It’s centrally located, and meals are reasonably priced. An electric kettle in the room for hot drinks would be useful.
