We had a great time at Samaritan Guest House in Makutano, Lodwar during our last holiday, and I’d gladly visit again. It’s a clean, peaceful spot for a family meal, time with friends or colleagues, or just a bit of time to yourself. The place feels rooted in Makutano, and the service was lovely. There’s a good range of food prepared by qualified chefs, and the staff were respectful, attentive, enthusiastic, and professional. The accommodation is a good option for a longer stay in Kapenguria or if you’re passing through. You can eat, stay overnight, hold a meeting or training, and use the venue for entertainment or conferences. Good value for the money.

The rooms are roomy and comfortable for resting after a tiring trip. The hosts are mostly religious people. Although it’s close to the main road, the area is fairly quiet.
