Kozi Suites Nairobi Airport

It worked well as a practical stopover, especially with the airport so close for early flights or late arrivals. The rooms were comfortable, and there were a few decent places to eat and shop nearby. I also liked the in-house restaurant, both the food and the atmosphere.

We had a restful night and got to the airport easily for our early flight. Kozi Suites is also within easy reach of the SGR railway station, and a mall is nearby if you’re staying longer. The rooms are nicely furnished and the decor is appealing. There’s a simple fan, and the window screens help keep mosquitoes out. They already have a microwave, kettle, fridge, cups, and glasses. You can ask for a cooker if you want to make your own meals, though the restaurant is a good option too. Reception and the restaurant are open 24 hours. The reception was courteous and informative, took us to our rooms, and showed us the facilities and how to get help. There’s a card with the Wi-Fi password, plus a QR code linking to reception and restaurant contacts.

The restaurant food was excellent, and the hotel is in a good spot not far from the airport. My room had a hot shower, gel and lotion, along with a fridge, microwave, kettle, and cups for making coffee. It was spacious, with large windows and a great view. I did have a bit of water pooling in the bathroom, perhaps just in that room.

The only thing I missed was toiletries like a toothbrush and toothpaste. My luggage had been sent on to another destination, so I couldn’t get to mine. A small amenity kit would really help transit guests in the same situation. Otherwise, Kozi Suites made for a very enjoyable stopover. The food was spot on, the rooms had lovely views, and the attendants were courteous and attentive. It’s close to the airport and easy to reach the city centre, which made my transit simple. I’d stay again.
