That lake view is the main reason to stay here. The location is outstanding, and the rooms are reasonably comfortable for a short visit, with steady hot water, a smart TV with Netflix and YouTube, and enough charging ports. The beds are basic but fine. The old key system and a door that doesn’t fit snugly are noticeable issues for comfort and security. Reception and security were friendly, so the first impression was good. Service wasn’t consistently efficient, though. Breakfast was slow even when there weren’t many guests, which made it seem like staffing or coordination was lacking. The breakfast itself was disappointing too, with limited choices that don’t match the setting or the room standard. It needs more fruit, drink options, and a broader, better-balanced spread. The biggest problem was how a room issue was handled. We were given a room with a broken toilet seat already there. Staff initially tried to blame us and charge for the damage instead of recognizing it was pre-existing. Reception got confrontational and even tried to stop us leaving through the gate until we paid. It felt unprofessional and pointed to poor communication between housekeeping and reception. That seriously damaged my trust in the hotel. The basic comfort is adequate, but slow service, weak breakfast, and the way guest issues are handled hold the place back. The potential is there, but accountability and execution need urgent improvement.
