Gatimene Gardens Hotel

On day one, I arrived with a child in a wheelchair, but we were directed to have dinner in the bar lounge, where nobody else was, instead of the regular dining area, apparently because other “normal” people were eating there. I won’t forget that. The facility itself is well built, and the meals were good, so those are the two stars I gave it. The management was very poor, and I strongly recommend they get a human resource manager. Better planning and follow-through would help. I stayed a few days, and based on what I experienced, I wouldn’t return. Customer care could be better, along with room maintenance and washroom refills. I didn’t manage to take a photo of the one-foot-high staircases on the rooms side.

The food was really tasty, a 9/10 for me, though service took a while. What caught my eye was how decorated, organized, and well maintained everything was. I thought there must be a ceremony planned, but it turns out this is just how the place normally looks. That was appealing, and it seems suitable for arranging a garden event too.

I had rice and beef, and it was so good. The gardens are beautiful too, making this a lovely place to relax. I’d recommend it if you’re looking for a quiet garden to unwind in or somewhere to hold meetings and events.

We were told fries and sausages would take 20 minutes, but the simple order took nearly an hour to arrive. The food was delayed.
