The rooms and facilities look decent, both inside and out, and the basics are there. It also seemed clean. My main issue was how slowly things were handled. I went to reception to buy Panadol and had to wait while someone fetched it from who knows where. The next morning I asked for something to wipe my shoes, but left without getting it. Breakfast takes a while too, so don't go if you're in a rush. Still, it's a nice place and I'd come back.

There were hardly any guests around when we visited, so the small parking area wasn't an issue, though it couldn't fit many cars if the place were busy. The standard rooms are 2,500, or 2,000 without breakfast. There are three room types, but they offer pretty similar things. Breakfast was okay, and the attendant tried to make us happy. The WiFi was atrocious, so bring your own data. The big cracks running up the buildings made my colleagues nervous.

A peaceful spot to relax with a nice meal or drink and some cool music. They have rooms too if you want to stay over and unwind.

The restaurant staff were welcoming, and the food was good, especially the nyama choma at a fair price. The restaurant sits by the main road, so there can be some noise. The area itself feels calm and inviting. There’s a nice range of rooms, and the deluxe ones are affordable without skimping on quality. The f&b mgr even took our order himself. A great place to stay in Meru.
