4/10
The food was excellent, and the reception staff were friendly. The restaurant team, though, were slow and didn’t seem to know the menu well, so placing an order was really difficult. The location is very convenient and easy to reach. Facilities are decent, but the room took ages to cool with the AC, and there was no hot shower water at night or in the morning. The room is spacious, and the bed is comfortably firm. Both pools are decent, though their layout feels a bit odd. It’s okay if you get a discounted rate, but at the regular price I’m not sure it’s worth it.

Dinner at Bliss Resort was a lovely experience. The staff were attentive and friendly, and the fresh, tasty food was nicely presented. The calm, elegant ambience made it a great place for a relaxed evening in Mombasa. I’ll be back.

The staff were excellent throughout our stay, friendly and helpful, and quick to sort out problems. We really enjoyed being here. Although it’s described as beachfront, the beach is about a five-minute walk away and isn’t very good. There are much better beaches nearby.

Unfortunately, our restaurant visit went badly. The beef steak wasn’t fresh and seemed unfit to eat, and the vegetables didn’t seem fresh either. Not long after we ate, my date became very ill and needed medical care.

Every staff member, from security to the cleaners, went out of their way to help us. A big thank you for making our visit memorable. The breakfast selection is a little limited and could be improved. I also found the breakfast area chairs wobbly and uncomfortable, so they need replacing.
