Kenya Bay Beach Hotel

The roadworks made it a little hard to get to Kenya Beach, but the scuba diving was fabulous. The instructor was experienced and patient, and took time to train us before the dive. I was a first-timer and felt comfortable and confident with their guidance.

Everything felt just right for both the kids and adults. I went with my family and loved it: the rooms were clean and comfortable, the staff were warm and attentive, and the service was top-notch. We can’t wait to come back, and I highly recommend it.

Our rooms were right by the ocean, and the hotel’s location was beautiful. We had a lovely stay at Kenya Bay Beach Hotel. The food was scrumptious, and the hospitality was 5 star. Owner Jaswinder went out of his way to meet our needs and make us comfortable. The beach is close and everything is convenient, with amazing staff too. Thanks to Jaswinder and all the staff. Can’t wait to return soon. See you soon.

The food was repetitive, tasteless and only lukewarm in the electric bain maries. They didn’t replenish it and sometimes ran out, then argued when we said we’d already paid for food we weren’t getting. The a la carte restaurant wasn’t great either. Service was off, and on two days in a row our cold food took an hour to arrive. They kept saying a technician was coming, but rarely anyone showed up. We had to make serious complaints SEVEN times, then complain to TUI before they moved us. The new room had a leak they already knew about, with a bath mat soaking up the water. The air conditioning kept cutting out, and they insisted we set it to 16°, which was too cold. Even at that setting it eventually stopped working. The pool was falling apart, and people were diving down to retrieve loose tiles after one had hurt someone’s foot. The hotel was awful, dirty and broken, and all the staff were useless, including Manager Nikhil. I usually hate going home from a holiday, but I’d gladly have cut this one short after less than a week.
