There's a peaceful pool and lounge on the roof, even with heavy traffic outside. The rooms are large, clean, and nicely furnished, with complimentary drinking water, good AC, a TV, and a fridge. I stay here whenever I come to Kenya and Mombasa. It's right in the center, and from arrival you're greeted by friendly people, from reception and cleaners to the bar staff and guards. Everyone is great.

Lovely staff and a great hotel, and the pool and rooms are amazing. The food and menu could use improvement, especially the cooking quality, and sometimes the wine is stale or old. The chef and bar need a boost, but I'll still come back.

Sentrim Castle Royal has classic charm and sits right in the heart of Mombasa, with nearby attractions easy to reach. My stay was pleasant, and the rooms were comfortable and clean. Staff were friendly and professional. The restaurant served great meals, with an impressive breakfast selection. A solid option for business or leisure.

I've never been treated worse. Since I'm from Kenya, they weren't welcoming and said I hadn't booked a room, then told me to find somewhere else to sleep. Only after I handed the phone to my partner from abroad and they spoke with him did the staff change their tune and become polite. Bad manners. Why treat a fellow Kenyan badly and a foreigner better? Sad 😔. I'll never recommend this place or set foot there again.

Everything was five-star for me, from the room cleanliness to the staff and security. The hotel is right in the middle of mombasa on Moi Ave, about 20 minutes from the airport. I can't fault it and highly recommend staying here.
