I stayed here for three months, and the people were warm and friendly throughout. The location felt safe even at midnight, with supermarkets nearby and Mtwapa’s lively nightlife all around. I’d definitely recommend it.

The apartment was in a handy spot, with shops and a supermarket close by, and the units were generally clean. But we had to get our own drinking water, and using the pool costs extra, even though we were paying over 2000 per day for the apartment.

We agreed on a price, then the host charged us 9k for one night, three times as much. Customer service was nonexistent, and the experience was awful. The owners are foreigners who, in my view, don’t understand hospitality. They’d be better off closing and renting it for camps. I wouldn’t recommend it.
